THE chairman of Nigeria National League (NNL), Chief Chidi Offor Okenwa and the National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Reverend Samuel Ikpea have con- gratulated NFF president Amaju Pin- nick on his CAF electoral victory last week in Addis Ababa. According Okenwa, Pinnick’s CAF electoral victory was well deserved.

Okenwa further stated that Pinn- ick’s emergence as a CAF executive committee member has given Ni- geria the chance of returning to the zenith of football politics in Africa, which he noted has been missing for the country in several years.

“I am happy for the development, I am happy for Pinnick and for Ni- geria, because his election means we will again be relevant in the scheme of things for football in Africa.”
The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Reverend Samuel Ikpea, on his part congratulated Pinnick and Ahmad, describing the outcome as the wish of the African football community who had yawned for a change in baton to align with global trends. “This is indeed, a testimony of the desire for change. Africa has unani- mously chosen to move its football forward in all its ramifications.
