The General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Musa Asake, is dead.

CAN President Dr Samson Olasupo, in a statement by his media aide, Pastor Bayo Oladeji, confirmed that Asake died on Friday after a brief illness.

Asake’s last official assignment as CAN scribe was the press conference he addressed few days ago on the killings in Nigeria, where he called on Christians to embark on a peaceful protest with a view to charging security agencies to their constitutional responsibilities.

Details later.
