Printing has been adjudged one of the most lucrative businesses in the country by the Chief Executive Officer of OGB Copiers, Ogbuonye Echezona Somtochukwu.

OG Copiers, a printing supply startup has grown to become a major stakeholder in the branding industry.

Its CEO, Orumba North, Anambra-born Ogbuonye, in a live Instagram chat has avowed that going by what happened during a handful of state and local government polls this year, it is clear that election periods are very lucrative for printing businesses.

Said he: “Also, we have seen quite large numbers of people who started printing businesses just because of the election and because of the contract which are usually much in the election period.”

Questions were asked about how the company has been attending to customer complaints, especially those who are outside Lagos State.

“We have a customer service team dedicated to the case of the unsatisfied customer and that way we can follow up on specific problems that customers are facing until they are all rectified.”

He continued: “If the customer is outside Lagos, OGB Copiers has specific engineers for specific machines whom we can send to different parts of the country to rectify the problems of any unsatisfied clients.”

A few of the participants on the live chat also wanted to know how government can sanitise and stabilise the printing sector.

According to the OGB Copiers boss: “Government should focus on creating a platform where all consumable goods are checked because the rate of bad toners in the market is getting too much and this is causing damages to print machines owned by companies and individuals.”

The participants also agreed that government should make the economy very stable as the rate of printing material is on the high side due to the depreciation of the naira against the dollar.

“Creating a good road network is also essential so that our printing machines can get to clients in a good condition,” the OGB Copiers CEO further stated.
