David Wealth Ezuzu, is the CEO/MD of DW-ARERBEN GROUP, a multi-national investment hub, one of the fastest growing companies in Nigeria.
In this interview with The Sun, Ezuzu shares his success story, challenges of an entrepreneur, as well as his views on Covid-19 pandemic.
Can you share a bit about your background?
I’m 35 years old, I hail from Isoko North LGA of Delta state, Nigeria.
I grew up from a Christian background and it shaped me into what I am today; calm, Self Motivated and self inspired person.
I am the first of a family of four, my mum is retired while my Dad is Late. I schooled at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, I studied Electronics Engineering.
Who is the real David Wealth Ezuzu, people don’t know about?
I’m a quiet, calm and self motivated young man. I’m a goal getter and I don’t easily give up on things or people. One of my driving force is to impact the life of young people all over the world beginning with my country.
How was your growing up days?
I grew up in a rural environment but I was brought up in a very civilized manner because my Dad was well traveled. Growing up was fun even though my Dad was very principled.
What inspired your decision to go into your current business ? 
The hunger to touch lives

What plans do you have for this 2020?
To influence and Impact the lives of 1 million people.
Would you say the Nigerian Economy is favorable for your kind of business ?
Our business is a Global one, such that it’s not fully dependent on the Nigeria economy. Though the economy has some impact on it.
What are your views on the Coronavirus issue in the world?
The COVID 19 situation has adversely affected some of the vital components of the world economy, and I hope that the right structures are in place to curb the spread.
As a successful business person , what were your challenges starting up?
Getting people to believe in your brand when there were no tangible results to show as yet.
What’s your advice to young people out there trying to be like you?
I will always tell them, just as a young lion fixes his eyes on his prey, never take your focus off your dreams as a young person, don’t get distracted.
What is the name of your business and when did you start?
The name of the company is DW-Arerben Global Investment ltd. We started operations in 2017, but we incorporated as a business name in 2018 and as a limited Liability in 2019.
How are you overcoming the challenges of an entrepreneur?
Challenges are meant to be surmounted, that has been my mindset. Every Challenges always come to pass away, and they make you stronger, firmer and open your eyes to new possibilities.
What motivates you to continue in the business despite the challenges?
Testimonies from the clients who have benefited from our services is one of my driving force, it gets me on my feet.
Being a busy man, how do you attract and retain good hands to help you run the business?
This happens as a result of good mentor-ship programs and off course the human instinct.
What is your assessment of the Nigerian business environment?
It’s a virgin land but still have a lot of work do be done on it.
What two or three things do you want government to do to make the environment friendlier for business people?
Firstly, organize more empowerment programs to empower and equip the young people. Secondly, provide the necessary financing to get them started and create an enabling business environment and right policies for these young one to grow.
