Atuchukwu noted that since surgery is the only available means of attending to such chronic cases in the present day context, having any safe herbal medication able to cure such conditions will be a great help to the sufferers. “This saves the patient from the agony of going through surgery, hospitalization, physical, mental and financial strain.”

Noting that his firm is the sole marketer of Pykure herbal capsules and ointments in Africa, he said the medications are patient-friendly and do not affect the patient’s day-to-day routine. He advised that the two should be used at the same time for effective performance.

Atuchukwu further explained that the Indian herbal formulations have proved to be 80% efficacious. He called on the government to adopt Pykure capsules and ointment and make them available in hospitals, so that many would benefit from the opportunity. “Our herbal medicines are more effective than others you can find in the market because they went through thorough laboratory tests like other orthodox medicines. So, if the government could buy the idea of introducing them to the hospitals, the increasing incidence of death related to piles, fissures, fistula and anal prolapse would reduce drastically,” Atuchukwu said.

He said that two capsules of Pykure make one dose, adding that two capsules should be taken in the morning, one hour before breakfast and two capsules in the evening for the first seven days. “That should continue up till three months, till the patient gets fully cured. Most importantly, patients should not worry about taking overdose, as Pykure is purely natural and has no side effects.”
