In a bid to serve its subscribers better, Consat,  a pay TV channel has rebranded its  corporate image and henceforth, it will be known as Play TV.

Briefing Journalists at it corporate office in Lagos recently, its General Manager, Funmi Adenaike said: “Play TV aims to be a leader in digital TV programming through the offering of a carefully selected combination of the best channels with the most flexible and convenient payment plans ever offered in Nigeria.”

She said that the brand’s focus was to be a  dominant urbane platform for the young at heart and plans were ongoing to expand its operations globally.

“Play TV has a  clear vision to entertain, empower and engage audiences through a passionate multicultural approach. As a trendsetter in promoting slick culture,  we have a huge customer base in different countries across Africa. The platform highlights the best of movies, kiddies programming, music, sports and fashion,” she added, stating that Play TV boasts of over 50 channels with a variety of movies, sports, lifestyle and family entertainment channels. 

“We recently launched Irawo (Silver) on Play TV which was well received by our viewers. It is a 24-hour contemporary Yoruba channel exclusive to the channel  and showcases movies sitcoms, lifestyle, entertainment and drama in indigenous Yoruba language,” Adenike concluded.
