As the 2023 general elections draw closer, Senator Nora Ladi Daduut (APC – Plateau South) has donated two buses, branded T-shirts, and other materials to the Plateau State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council.
Speaking while presenting the items to the Director General of the APC Campaign team in Plateau, Prof Sabasstian Maimako in Jos, Senator Daduut pledged to work for the Victory of the APC from top to bottom.
She said the vehicles and other campaign materials were meant to facilitate sound victory for the APC.
Daduut who was represented by her Legislative Assistant, Mrs Rufina Grumyen said the donation is part of her modest contribution towards ensuring victory for the APC in Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole in the forthcoming general elections.
“So we are drumming support for our Candidates in the APC because we know that they are highly experienced and above all have all it takes to deliver dividends of democracy to the Nigerian citizens. “
She said, “The APC is our party and victory must be collectively sought, I am contributing my quota to a cause I strongly believe is in the interest of Nigerians, especially in Plateau State.”
According to her, she is willing to go around the state to canvass votes for the Presidential Candidate of the APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Simon Lalong for Senate Plateau South Senatorial race, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, for governorship position as well as other Candidates of the party in the forthcoming general elections.
The Director General of the APC Campaign team in Plateau Prof Maimako who spoke at the occasion said the party cherished the efforts of Senator Nora Daduut in supporting the APC.
He expressed deep confidence in the ability of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Governor Simon Lalong and other candidates of the APC to turn the fortunes of the country and Plateau State around.
“I want to also use this opportunity to once again, call on the people of Plateau and Nigerians to embrace the APC presidential standard bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the governorship candidate for our state Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Governor Simon Lalong and others, because they are both detribalized Nigerians who have impacted on lives, irrespective of tribe and religion.
Prof Maimako who expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious at the polls at all levels further lauded Senator Daduut for supporting the party at all times.
