Governor Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara State, has described late Alhaji Yusuf Maitama Sule (Dan Masanin Kano) as a great patriot who believe in the unity of the country.
Yari, in a statement by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Dosara, said that the late Sule was a genius whose valuable contribution as a public figure help in fostering peace, progress and unity in the country.
“Dan Masanin Kano was a father who always want the best for the country. He was a great champion who fought oppression and dictatorship even in his old age,” the statement reads.
Governor Yari described Dan Masanin death as a big loss to the country and prayed to Allah to grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
88 years old Dan Masani Kano died, on Monday, in a Cairo hospital.
