The management of Dansol High School, Ikeja recently celebrated their academic and non- academic staff, as well as students that excelled in their academic activities for the 2021/2022 session.
The capacity filled school hall was treated to some excellent rendition of speech session on the topic “Raising Excellent Leadership” by selected students.
The topic was captivating as well as interesting.
Some key qualities in raising excellent leadership as stressed by one of the speakers includes “questioning the status quo and transformational leaders must be innovative.”
The high point of the ceremony was the presentation of prizes to deserving students in JSS1-JSS3 and SS1-SS2 who excelled in their academic performance during the 2021/2022 session.
Also honoured for the 2021/2022 session were some academic and non-academic staffs who received various sums of money.
Edet Samson was the recipients of the Teacher of the Year award, while Mr. Adeyemo David and Mr. Innocent Azamarogbe took the second and third positions respectively. Best non-academic staff went to Mr. Femi Fatoki, while Miss Favour Etukudo and Mr. Daniel John received the second and third positions respectively.
The school proprietor, Mrs. Adun Akinyemiju, expressed gratitude to all who attended the event, especially parents.
