The Director General of Plateau State Contributory Health Care Management Agency (PLASCHEMA), Dr. Fabong Jemchang Yildam has assured the beneficiaries of the State Health Insurance Scheme that their data is saved, secured and protected from external invasion.

Dr. Yildam disclosed this on Saturday during a press briefing in Jos and refuted claims by Website Planet that the data of the beneficiaries of Plateau State Social Health Insurance Scheme was open during a Web mapping project.

He dismissed the claim and said the agency has one of the most proficient and protected data base which cannot be invaded by a third party.

He said, “PLASCHEMA places a very high premium on the data of our beneficiaries. We do not for any reason condone unwarranted access to the personal data of beneficiaries. We shall not rest until we unravel any malicious third party that is attempting to undo PLASCHEMA.”

He applauded the Director General of Plateau State ICT Development Agency (PICTDA) David Daser who worked tirelessly with the agency from inception to ensure that their technology operations are secured and remained intact form end-to-end.

Dr. Yildam assured all beneficiaries of the scheme that their data is saved and admonished Plateau citizens who are yet to key into the State Social Health Insurance Scheme that eliminate catastrophic out of pocket spending to do so”, adding that “At PLASCHEMA, our goal is to ensure that no one is behind”.
