Determined to impact positively to the society and fulfill part of her social responsibility, the winner of the 2018 Arewa Ogun Beauty Pageant, Mosunmola Omotayo, has distributed potable water to over 10,000 residents of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Residents of Ibara, Omida, Isabo, Kuto, Nawair-Ud-Deen Road, Oke-Yeke, Ijaye, Sapon, Itoku and Elega, were elated to receive the water made available by the beauty queen. Water tankers were dispatched to these areas hit by dearth of potable water, to dispense water to the residents free of charge.

She disclosed that the water project is one of the projects she lined up to touch lives: “We are here for my project tagged ‘Water is Life’. Water is a necessity, without water we cannot do anything. We are here to distribute water to the residents. These are special areas where people need water. I conducted a research and discovered that there is water scarcity in the identified areas and that is why I decided that my water project should be brought to these areas.
