Traditional rulers in Delta State have thrown their weight behind the calls for the restructuring of the country.

The royal fathers under the aegis of Delta State Traditional Rulers’ Council urged the Federal Government to revisit reports and recommendations of previous national conferences with a view to forming appropriate modalities for the restructuring of the country.

In an eight-point communiqué issued at the end of the council’s meeting in Asaba and read by chairman of the council, the Obi of Owa, Dr. Efeizomor II, the monarchs said restructuring remained the panacea to the incessant separatist agitations.
