President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ogun State, Godwin Agwu, said the group has not endorsed any candidate or political party for Saturday’s governorship and state Assembly elections.

He spoke against the backdrop of rumours making the rounds that the Igbo group had endorsed a particular political party.

The Igbo leader, who spoke in Abeokuta, at the weekend, said: “I’m using this medium to remind all members and chairmen of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ogun State that the group has not endorsed any governorship candidate of any particular political party.

“Whosoever we are going to support for the race, needs to let us know about his plans and programmes for us as a people, as we have not been fairly treated in recent past.
