A popular seer and leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele has advised President Mohammadu Buhari not to take Nigerians for granted as a lot was expected of him in delivering dividends of democracy to them.

This was just as his spokesman, Mr. Kehinde Balogun revealed that the cleric actually predicted the declaration of President Mohammadu Buhari by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as winner of the February 23 Presidential polls.

This came on the heels of the controversy that certain men of God, who had given predictions on the said poll, misfired by predicting that the Peoples Democratic Party’s Alhaji Atiku Abubakar would emerge the winner.

Balogun in a press release made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on yesterday said Primate Ayodele had about a year ago urged the PDP to ensure that they picked Senator Bukola Saraki, Nigeria Senate President, as the party’s presidential candidate as the divine signals favour the son of the late Kwara political godfather, Olusola Saraki, to beat President Mohammadu Buhari in the last presidential poll.

The statement reads in part:  “In a national daily published a few days to the poll, Primate Ayodele  predicted that the boasts of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), notwithstanding, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), will still win the 2019 Presidential polls in the country.

“Elijah stated that indications emerging from the country’s political scene has not shown that both PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his campaign boss, Senate President Bukola Saraki are serious with the ambition of their party to take over power from President Mohammadu Buhari come February, 2019.”
