As Oparanozie, Ngozi return to Europe

Injured Super Falcons defender Onome Ebi has undergone a successful surgery on her arm.
The central defender was injured in the arm during last weekend’s AWCON final against hosts Cameroon in Yaounde.
The experienced Ebi played through the pain barrier for Nigeria to clinch a record eighth title.
She underwent a corrective surgery in Abuja, but it is unclear whether the cost of the operation was borne by the player herself or the cash-strapped Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Meanwhile, Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi was the other player who was injured in the bruising final against Cameroon.
The duo of Desire Oparanozie and Ngozi Ebere have dropped out of the Super Falcons “sit-in” protest over unpaid entitlements.
According to allnigeriasoccer.com, French-based striker Desire Oparanozie, who netted the winner versus Cameroon, departed the Super Falcons hotel in Abuja and traveled to France to join her club while Paris Saint-Germain defender Ngozi Ebere has gone to meet up with her club for their Saturday game against Juvisy in the Division 1 Féminine.
At the just concluded African Women Cup of Nations, Ebere’s playing opportunities were sparse, with manager Florence Omagbemi preferring Ohale Osinachi, Onome Ebi, Ugo Njoku in defense.
The 25-year-old has not made a single appearance for PSG in the league after eight rounds.
