Member of the House of Representatives, Kehinde Agboola, has urged Ekiti State to replicate what he described as the Lagos State succession plan by electing Governor Ayodele Fayose’s deputy, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the next governor of the state.

Agboola said the development being witnessed in Lagos  State  is a product of the succession plan which has been in place since the administration of former governor Bola Tinubu.

He said Ekiti is in dire need of continuity of the programmes, policies and projects put in place by the Fayose administration.

Agboola said this at Odo Oro Ekiti, in Ekiti state, during the third edition of his yearly constituent empowerment programme comprising 39 communities in Oye and Ikole council areas of the state.

The deputy governor described Agboola as a true follower of Fayose and expressed satisfaction with his performance at the National Assembly and the state.

He urged elected representatives and leaders to take a cue from him(Agboola) and be good to their constituents.

Meanwhile, governorship aspirants of both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) have preached togetherness, love, peace and unity as the new year dawns.

The governorship aspirants, including  APC’s Senator Ayo Arise, Senator Gbenga Aluko, Chief Dele Okeya, newly-appointed board member  of the Voice of Nigeria and Muyiwa Olumilua, son of former governor of old Ondo and PDP’s Olusola Kolapo, incumbent deputy governor and Segun Adewale (also known as Aeroland), urged Nigerians and Ekiti people to embrace peace, love for one another and ensure unity is preserved among the citizenry.
