The Ekiti State University Alumni Association has held its Annual General Assembly and ninth Special Convention.

 

The event which was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, recently, had in attendance an array of alumni drawn from different walks of life.

 

 

Meanwhile, the Ekiti State chapter of the association, in conjunction with the USA and Kogi State chapters, have collectively sent their congratulatory regards to the National President, Engineer Dipo Bamisaye, congratulating him on the success of the event.

According to the Ekiti State Chapter Chairman, Comrade Deji Oso, “the National President must be commended and encouraged, going by the success of the just-concluded convention.”

 

The chairman, USA Chapter, Hon. Deolu Tinubu, however, noted that the alumni association belongs to all members and that members should be implored to continue to project the university positively by providing the needed support for the Bamisaye-led administration.

 

 

Lending his voice to the goodwill message, the Kogi State chapter chairman, Hon. Suleiman Nasir, equally congratulated the National President for the success of the convention. He, however, prayed that the association continues to grow.

 

The event witnessed the Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola, delivering a paper virtually, while Senator Opeyemi Bamidele was also in attendance to be honoured by the association.
