Voters with Sokoto city have commenced voting in earnest, our correspondent can confirm.
At about 8:45am, in Gagi ‘B’ ward in Sokoto North Local Government Area, there were indications that INEC officials had commenced issuing ballot papers to voters who had presented their Personal Voter Card (PVC) for verification.
Some INEC officials who were approached for interview could not give their comments due to their engagement with the prospective voters on the queue.
