A socio-political group, Omituntun Initiative in the Diaspora, (OID) has described the new feather added to the cap of the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, by the Emir of Katagum, Bauchi State, HRH Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar (II) as a testimony and attestation of his selfless service to humanity.
The group commended Governor Makinde for a well-deserved honour and added that the chieftaincy title of “Bade Yama of Katagum” conferred on him is a testament and one of the rewards of his total commitment to people’s welfare and uncommon leadership style which endeared him to the general public.
The spokesman of the group, Ayotomiwa Adebayo in a press release made available to newsmen, commended Governor Makinde for his great performance in executing developmental projects and ongoing laudable mega projects in the state within twenty-two months in office.
The group prayed that God will continue to increase the governor in wisdom and understanding to perform beyond expectations.
It also called on the good people of Oyo State to continue to support and pray for Governor Makinde to succeed in his efforts to transform the state to an enviable status.
