No fewer than 3,000 youths selected from the five local government areas in Ogun West Senatorial District will undergo training in various vocations.

The training which is being facilitated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Ogun West, Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, will commence before December.

Disclosing this at the official inauguration of the ultra modern pavilion, in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, the Central Chairman, W2W4DA, Dr. Isiaq Kunle Salako, said that the empowerment training would also make equipment and seed funds available for the beneficiaries.

Salako explained that apart from the inauguration of the pavilion, Senator Adeola, equally donated 19 power transformers, school furniture to 10 selected schools selected across the five LGAs in the senatorial district as well as donation of brand new buses to the Council of Baale, Christian and Muslim Communities, and the market women, as part of the senator’s gesture to celebrate his 53rd birthday.

He noted that Adeola, as a person who is committed to the welfare and development of the Ogun West people, has finalized plans to construct an ultra modern market, town halls and fix some deplorable roads in the senatorial district, particularly in Ado-Ota/Ota Local Government Area.

He described the senator as a brilliant and experienced politician, whose network within and outside Nigeria is first class and immeasurable.

While lauding the cordial relationship between the senator and Governor Dapo Abiodun, Salako submitted that “Adeola is passionate about the development of Ogun West, Ogun State and Nigeria”.

He, however, appealed to the sons, daughters and residents of Ogun West to work for the electoral victories of the Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, the APC governorship candidate in the state, Dapo Abiodun and its Senatorial candidate, Solomon Adeola, in the 2023 general elections.

According to him, “the victories of Tinubu, Abiodun and Adeola in the next year elections will guarantee the sustenance of life-changing interventions in education, commerce and socioeconomic developments of Ogun West”.

In his remarks, the Director, National Productivity Centre, Abuja, Dr. Kashim Ako, who commended Adeola for facilitating the pavilion, also lauded him for his commitment to the welfare of his people and Nigeria.

While disclosing that it was the first phase of the pavilion that was inaugurated, Ako, urged the people to ensure proper maintenance and good use of the multi-million naira edifice.

In an interview with newsmen, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, praised the senator for bringing succour to the people of Ogun West, calling on other well meaning indigenes of Yewaland to emulate Adeola by contributing their quotas to the development of the senatorial district.
