Encomiums as market women in Akoko land laud Tunji-Ojo

It was indeed a spectacular sight on December 25, 2020, as market women from Akoko North East and North West gathered to shower and encomium on one of their sons, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, a member of the House of Assembly representing Akoko North East /North West Federal Constituency.

 

The women who were led by the Iya- Alaje of Akokoland, Alhaja Chief Mrs Muhammad Risikatu, who expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, saying that they are indeed blessed to have him as a lawmaker who truly cares for his people.

 

The market women received startup capitals for their businesses and other items from the lawmaker to celebrate the festive period, an initiative which Tunji-Ojo promised to be a continuous one.

 

While praising the lawmaker, the women stated that his activities in the town are unprecedented in the history of the town, explaining that the constituencies had witnessed immense growth and development since he assume office.

 

According to her, “We the leagues of the market women in Akoko Land are pleased with BTO, we need no further proof to validate his mandate.

 

”Based on what he has done among us, what he is doing and the ones he promised to do for us, we are fully convinced that we have a true leader among us and we are fully committed to support him and ensuring the sustenance of his good works amongst us.”

 

The Iya- Alaje, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Muhammad Risikatu enjoined the lawmaker never to relent with his numerous good works, stating that he has started well among them, and they really appreciate his good gesture among them.
