Asked about how she gets inspiration for her songs, the Imo State born vocalist said:
“If you have listened my songs, you will realize that I am not singing for fun or to entertain, It is to worship. It is a choice. It is from within. I am worshipping God. The joy is that I am gifted with such a voice. It is a debt I owe to God and as such, my inspiration is simply from God.
Most of my songs are inspired by God’s word, from my life’s story and from my surroundings. I sometimes take time out to meditate too. During such times, I also get inspiration for songs. It is all about God. It is all about worshipping him”.
Speaking further, she noted that talented church singers dump gospel music for secular because of their pursuit of fame and money.
Most of them opt for secular music because of money. Most often toll that line because they think the church platform is not really huge. Also, most of them who opted for secular music were not really born again. Most were just church members. However, success or fulfillment is not measured by money. It is measured by impact”
