A Federal lawmaker representing Akure North/South Federal Constituency, Adedayo Omolafe, has condemned the wanton killings of harmless protesters in the state as well as other part of Nigeria.
Omolafe stated this in a press release issued earlier today
According to him,” it saddens my heart that anyone will attempt to order the killings of our future leaders by suspected security officials under any guise of circumstance. This is barbaric and condemnable in any society.”
He further added that as a representative of the people of Akure North and South, he cannot accept the gruesome murder of the youths.
While calling for peace, the lawmaker appealed to the people of Akure North and South to shun any form of violence and also to ensure that they prevent the peaceful protest from being hijacked by unscrupulous elements who doesn’t mean well for constituency and the nation

at large.
