Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi will on Thursday seek an 11th straight win for his club in all competitions, as The Gunners file out against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.

Although his side are visitors at Estádio José Alvalade, Iwobi is banking on a rich vein of form for the club to see them edge ahead of their hosts and set new marks on a winning spree across all levels.

Iwobi, who has hit top form in helping Arsenal win ten straight games, since losing their first two English Premier Leagues fixtures, says they have what it takes to extend the winning spree on Thursday in Lisbon.

Arsenal have won their last ten fixtures, with Iwobi taking part in eight, as he missed only the ties against Cardiff City and Newcastle United due to a bout with illness.

Ahead of Thursday’s match, Iwobi, who has played eight matches in the Europa League and has four assists, said:

“Let’s try and make it 11.

“That’s what we want to do, and I’m sure the fans do too. We can’t just dwell on it, let’s keep on going and better ourselves.”
