One of the rising Nigerian music stars, Ebu Augustine, popularly known as Au-Pro has said that there is no height one cannot attain in the music industry with good plans.

For this, he said he will continue to do what will be a thing of pride for his fans, saying, he is now putting up his best at being enlisted as one of top Nigerian winners of the Grammy Awards.

Augustine, an indigene of Akwa-Ibom State in Nigeria, said, every success can easily be achieved by good planning, the reason he said, he has mapped out plans to be the most-sourced among Nigerian singers, home and abroad.

“I don’t joke with my work. Music is my life. I’ve done this trying to carve a niche for myself among fierce competition in the industry in the past years, and over time, I’ve gotten a good feedback from my fans, which is an encouragement to move on,” Au-Pro.

The musical artist currently signed on the ‘To Super Cool Cat’ label beaded by Ice Prince Zamani, said he is aiming to win on the list of Nigerian Grammy Awards winners, as that to him is an unequalled achievement in the global music industry.

“Being decorated by the Grammy Awards, is an achievable feat, which I know I can attain, since those who have won it in the past only did something differently, which is what I’m currently busy with, and someday, I hope to be rewarded for it.

“As we generally know, Nigeria is full of talented singers, even, those who have not yet come to the limelight are enormous. What the veterans in industry need to do is to encourage the younger ones and put up a good mentoring advantage for them.

“On the part of other categories of industry players, especially the government, who is a big player here, let there be opportunities for easy access to funding of our creative works, likewise the banks should drive friendly policies that will make them to become flexible enough to attend to our,” Augustine said.

He charged that, access to the internet should be made easy for all as most songs are uploaded on different online platform first these days by the singers for easy reach and access by their fans, saying, with the currently, “technology has liberated the Nigerian music industry.”

“Technology has changed the game in the music industry, and it is good to note that, whoever is not digital savvy to a reasonable extent won’t enjoy good music in today’s world,” Augustine said.

He described his early arrival to the music industry, as he was signed by a record label called ‘Small But Mighty’ (SBM), as a rewarding experience as it fetched him an opportunity to further build up his career and skills as a singer, producer, song writer, and sound engineer.

While he grew in the industry, Au-Pro said he has featured big names in the Music Industry likes of Praise, Burna Boy, Patoranking, Sean Tizzle, YCEE, Teddy A, Henry Knight, Solid Star, Ice Prince Zamani, Jaymo Piper and some up and coming artistes.

Au-Pro, who said he has dropped several Extended Playlist (EP) at the pick of his career, with unflinching support from fans who he said embrace his good works, the singer also extended his appreciation to those who patronise him, saying, music should be among Nigerian foreign exports which can earn the country good foreign exchange, as he promised his fans that his new hits are still coming.
