Former Lagos State deputy speaker, Bola Olujobi, has urged Rotarians to step up humanitarian services across the country.

Olujobi, who representing Senator Oluremi Tinubu at the 40th anniversary and investiture of the 41st president of Onigbongbo district said Rotarians should venture into more projects capable of uplifting the society.

At the event held at Rotary Center, GRA, Ikaja, Lagos, Olujobi tasked the new district president, Rasaq Adesina Salawu, to champion enviable projects that would benefit the society.

“Politician can’t do it alone. Although we all know humanitarian services it’s not an easy task, but it’s a responsibility all members of the club must fulfil. Sincerely speaking, I’m satisfied with what I have seen so far and I think this district will serve as pace setter to others.”

The new president vowed to serve the club diligently.

“I am equal to the task. Members of my club knows humanitarian services is what I have always loved to do. This is a great challenge and I will do my best in making sure the club soars higher than I met it,” Salawu said.
