The Eze Ndigbo Ghana, HRM Eze (Dr) Chukwudi Ihenetu has congratulated Chief Dr and Lolo (Mrs) Okwudiri Divine Nwandu  Akunesiobike who recently bagged the Chieftaincy title of Afor 1 of Afor Ukwu Mbaise. The event took place on January 2nd at the palace of the Ikoro 1of Ogbor Ihitteaforukwu, Ahiazu Mbaise, Eze Barr. Nwokeji Thomas

In event attended by people from all walks of life, the ancient town of Ihitteaforukwu Ekwerazu Ahiazu Mbaise was literally shut down as Chief Nwandu takes his 3rd Chieftaincy title as  Afor 1 of Afor- Ukwu. The title was conferred on him by HRM Eze Barr Nwokedi Thomas the Ikoro 1 of Ogbor Ihitteaforukwu ancient kingdom, Ekwerazu Ahaizu Mbaise at his palace, in the presence of over 30 traditional rulers and other dignitaries that includes: HRM Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Ihenetu, Eze Ndigbo Ghana, member Representing Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Hon. Emeka Chinedu Martins, Hon Samuel Otuibe, member Representing Ahiazu Mbaise state Constituency, Hon Ken Agbim, former House of Assembly member, Ahiazu Mbaise, Hon Steve Onu, Hon Kelvin Agbaegbu, Prince Ibe Obolobo, PDP Chairman Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Hon. Chief Chima Onuoha Echeozo and Chief Harrison Mba Kalu, the Chief of Staff, Eze Igbo Palace in Ghana.

From Palace of Ikoro1, Chief Nwandu and his guests left for his country home where they were entertained with rich Igbo cultural dance and meal.

In his remarks, Eze Ihenetu described Chief Nwandu as a young promising Igbo son who takes delight in Igbo culture and tradition. He said the presence of several traditional rulers and other dignitaries is evident that Nwandu is a trustworthy person.

In his own remarks, Chief Nwandu thanked God and everyone present at the occasion. He promised to continue on the part of righteousness and service to humanity.

Highlight of the event was a royal dance, where royal fathers took to the dance floor to felicitate with Chief Nwandu and his Lolo.
