The Eze Ndigbo Ghana and Assistant Publicity Secretary Ndieze Ndigbo Nuzo Ije, HRM Eze Chukwudi Ihenetu has congratulated the newly inaugurated executives of National Association of Nigeria students, Ghana chapter.

In a statement, the royal father who personally attended the event alongside the Charge D’Affairs, Nigeria High Commission, Mrs Esther Arewa said he was impressed by the orderly manner the students conducted their affairs during the excercise. He charges them to be patriotic in all their endeavors in other to make the country proud abroad.

During the election, Comrade Onyebuchi Shedrack Akukwe emerged as Executive President of NANS Ghana chapter, Kayode Fatai (Vice President), Emmanuel Oyebanji (Secretary General), Joshua Erondu Chidiebere (Director of Programs) and Jennifer Chineke (Women Commissioner).

While commending them for a successful election, HRM Ihenetu said, he was proud of the youths exemplary leadership qualities adding that palace of Ndigbo in Ghana will be willing to work with the new exco.
In letter of appreciation from  the newly constituted executives, the new president, Mr Akukwe thanked HRM Ihenetu for his fatherly roles. He assured that the association will continue to make Nigéria proud by engaging in patriotic activities that would potray the nation in good light.

On what Igbo palace in conjunction with Nigeria High Commission in Ghana has attained in the recent time, HRM Ihenetu said they have been able to end over 25 years of  trade dispute between Nigerian Traders in Ghana and the Ghana Trade Union. “As peace Ambassador, I have used my good office as leader of NdIgbo in Ghana- to attract the attention of the Federal Government to the plight of our people. I charge you all to make our country proud also in all your areas of endeavors”, he said.
