The Eze Ndigbo Mekong River South East Asia, HRH Uzochukwu Jerome Ezeneche has commiserated with former governor of Anambra State, Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife (Okwadike) on the death of his beloved wife Njideka.
Mrs. Ezeife died after a brief illness in the United States of America.
In a statement on behalf of Ndigbo. in Mekong South East Asia, HRH Ezeneche (Eze Nwata gwuoshimiri) who is king of six nations said Ndigbo in South East Asia are with the Igbo leader in this trying moment.
While describing Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Njideka Ezeife, the former first lady of Anambra state as a very supportive wife, HRH Ezeneche prayed that God would give the family fortitude to bear the loss.
In his words of encouragement to Chief Ezeife, HRH Ezeneche described him as a great Igbo leader who always take the lead in the struggle to free Ndigbo from marginalisation. “On this note, I hereby call on you to be strong and bold, may you not grow weary in your determination to continue to play your fatherly role. We Ndigbo in South East Asia stands with you in these trying moment,” he said.
Similarly, HRH Ezeneche also mourn with Anambra State people on the loss of their illustrious daughter to death. The Royal father urges them to come together and give the former First Lady, a befitting burial.
