In a bid to reposition Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State as an entertainment hub in Lagos State, Blaze Royal Incorporated, an entertainment promotion outfit has unveiled plans for its maiden beauty pageant christened Face of Alimosho.

Briefing Journalists recently at Buffalo Bar, Alimisho, Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Richard Martins, said that the competition was also aimed at empowering young girls in Alimosho and its environs.

“We found out that Alimosho is not taking its pride of place when it comes to entertainment and social life, yet it is the largest local government in Lagos State. So, we decided to use ‘Face of Alimosho’ beauty pageant as one of the platforms to enhance the social life of the area and drive tourism,” Martins explained.

He disclosed that the competition was open girls between the age bracket of 18 and 2 7, adding that it would help redirect the minds of girls from social vices like prostitution.

First prize in N.2m, second prize is N.15m while third prize is N.1 including one year modelling contract. Entries close on April 30.
