Ekiti Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has dissolved the state executive council and ordered all former commissioners to hand over to the permanent secretaries of their respective ministries.

His Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Idowu Adelusi, in a statement, yesterday, said the governor thanked the former commissioners for their service to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.

Meanwhile, no reason was given for the cabinet dissolution.

However, there are speculations that Fayose’s decision to dissolve the cabinet may not be unconnected with the 2018 governorship poll.
