Popular music promoter, Odusanya Obafemi, known famously as Laborita is not only renowned for being  a big spender at clubs. In recent months, stories of his extraordinary philanthropy have been making the rounds.

 

In the wake of the Covid-19 lockdown that dominated 2020, his name was mentioned in the same breadth with a host of entrepreneurs and other private individuals who donated to society in order to stem the devastating consequences of the pandemic that could have led to humanitarian crises in the country.

 

 

Laborita joined other well-meaning Nigerian in helping families, friends and anyone at all that came his way that were in need.

Laborita who became a music promoter in 2008 has worked with major music stars and celebrities including Small Doctor and Zlatan Ibile.

 

 

On how his upbringing has impacted on his sense of responsibility to others, he said: I am from a family of five and I am the only son and that made an impact on me. I was quick to know that I have major responsibilities before me, so I must work extra hard to make ends meet.”
