The Presidency has said the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will  hold today,  with only  the 2018 budget on the agenda.

The presidency, through one of its twitter handle: Presidency Nigeria @NGPresident tweeted: “Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will hold Thursday October 26, 2017. Agenda is #Budget2018, which is currently  being finalised.”

On Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari was in Niamey, Niger Republic, for the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS ) meeting where the issue  of single currency in the sub-region by 2020, was discussed.

He returned to the country, last weekend, from  Istanbul, Turkey, where he  also attended the summit of the D-8.

His deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, also returned to the country on Tuesday, after he attended the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Beneficial Ownership Transparency Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia.
