Fame is acquired by what one is known for. A good name is better than a bad name. We have the ability to call a good name for ourselves through the right means. Most times we acquire a good name from good deeds, and it lives on.

Being good and gracious to people is not gender based, it comes from the heart and entices people. We can only give credit to those who are the frontiers of humanitarian activities.

Amongst them is a young lady with a not so detailed reasons why she does the philanthropic projects, but findings from her, drew us at a meeting point, when she gave an insight about meeting the needs of people who walk aimlessly, waking up each day with the thoughts of how to feed. Those people who are not bothered about eating thrice a day but would be glad if they came across just a meal.

The sympathetic situation of the underprivileged could literally melt anyone’s heart.

Listening to the stories of these people motivated her to help the best way she could. Through Edith Lastar’s charitable projects, it propelled people to volunteer, as more hands could touch thousands.
