Mr. Festus Uzoma Mbisiogu, President of Blue Diamond Logistics and Chief Executive Officer of Shanghai Engineering Works Limited, ranks top among Nigerians, who are braving the odds to establish and run thriving businesses and industries.

A businessman with experience in international trade, he is widely travelled with business interests in China, United States, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Nigeria.

Mbisiogu set out early in business and has achieved success as an industrialist and representative of reputable global manufacturing and logistics companies in China and Nigeria.

Through the companies he founded, Uzotex International Nigeria Limited, Blue Diamond Limited as well as Shanghai Engineering Works Limited, he has made a tremendous impact on the Nigerian economy through industrialisation and job creation.

His Blue Diamond Logistics began operations in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Part of the company’s business is bridging the gap between manufacturers in China and buyers in Nigeria.

A large number of Nigerian importers send their products from China through Blue Diamond Logistics as the company stands as a middleman between the importers and the manufacturers.

It also serves as a freight forwarding agent to the point of delivery to the importers.

Through his Shanghai Engineering Works, Mbisiogu successfully established partnership with China Airport & Railway Construction Company Limited. Operations of the company covers infrastructure construction, survey, design and consulting services, engineering equipment and component manufacturing as well as property development.

With factories in Lagos and Imo State, the company manufactures high quality PVC pipes, aluminium roofing sheets, PVC ceiling, armoured and ordinary metal doors, among others. He has hundreds of people on his employ.  As a renowned philanthropist, Mbisiogu has impacted many lives through his Uzotex Foundation, a platform through which he has improved the quality of lives of many people in his native Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State and beyond.

Mbisiogu attended Issele Asagba Secondary School in Delta State before proceeding to the University of Lagos, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2007.

He also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. In the course of his exciting business career, he has also attended many local and international business summits.

This budding entrepreneur is also the Founder of Good Governance Initiative (GGI), a Non-Governmental Organisation and the founding coordinator of the Chinese chapter of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) in the Guangdong Province of China.
