The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has said that the Federal government and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have declared war on the leaders of his party nationwide, ahead of tomorrow’s presidential and National Assembly polls.

Secondus, in a statement by his media aide,  Ike Abonyi, accused the government and the ruling party of violating the peace accord signed by the political parties participating in the presidential poll.

The PDP leader alleged that the government had deployed the military and police to arrest and detain opposition leaders across the country.

He noted that reports available to him indicated that PDP leaders in Kwara, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Kano, Kaduna and other states were being harassed by security agencies, with some of detained  on flimsy reasons.
