Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo, has approved the deployment of 24 federal permanent secretaries.

Fifteen of them were newly appointed and sworn in last week Wednesday. Three of those redeployed will resume in October while the rest are to complete handing and taking over formalities on or before August 31, according to a circular signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.

The circular stated that the processes for handing/taking over should be completed on or before Friday, 25th August, 2017 except for deployments with specific taking over or assumption of duty dates.

The three to resume duties in October are Dr. A.A.B Shamaki, redeployed from Special Duties Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) to the Ministry of Science and Technology. He is to take over on October 1.

Aminu Aliyu Bisalla has been redeployed from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment to General Service Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF). He is to take over on October 1.

Nuratu Batagarawa has been redeployed from Service Policy and Strategies Office, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation (OHCSF) to the Ministry of Defence. He is to take over on October 8.

Handing and taking over formalities should be completed on August 31 and Bamgbose, Olukunle A, deployed from  Political Affairs Office – Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The new appointee Ehuria Georgina Ekeoma (Abia), deployed to Cabinet Affairs Office,  Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Akpan Edet Sunday (Akwa Ibom), deployed to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment. He is to resume on October 1. 

Anagbogu Ifeoma Nkiruka ((Anambra), deployed to the Ministry of Women Affairs, and Walson-Jack Diiarau Didi Esther (Bayelsa), deployed to Service Welfare Office, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation. 

Others are Gekpe George Isu (Cross River), deployed to Ministry of Information and Culture, Aliboh Leon Lawrence (Delta), deployed to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning, Uwaifo Osarenona Clement (Edo), deployed to the Ministry of Health, Folayan Ayodele Olaniyi (Ekiti), deployed to Common Services Office, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation, Abdullahi Abdulazeez Mashi (Katsina), deployed to Ministry of Communications, and Adebiyi Bolaji Adekunle (Lagos), deployed to the Ministry of Labour and Productivity. 

Others are Ibrahim Musa Wen (Nasarawa), deployed to Ministry of Water Resources, Odewale Samson Olajide (Ogun), deployed to Special Duties Office, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation, Adesola Olusade (Ondo), deployed to Ministry of Youths and Sports,  Umar Mohammed Bello (Sokoto) deployed to Special Services Office, Office of the Secretary to the Federation and Aduda Gabriel Tanimu (FCT), deployed to Political Affairs Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
