Civil Defenders of Nigeria will square up against AS Sale of Morocco following their qualification to the quarterfinal stage of the FIBA Africa Basketball League 2019, which ended on Sunday in Cotonou, Benin.
The Nigerians will face the Group A winners who dispatched all their opponents to stay perfect with a 3-0 mark.
Courtesy of winning Group B with a perfect 3-0 mark, the Tunisian champions Etoile Sportive de Rades advanced to the Elite 8 knockout stage where they will face fellow Tunisians JS Kairouan, who finished as Group A runners-up.
Meanwhile, Primeiro D’Agosto and Petro Atletico de Luanda will do battle in an all-Angolan quarterfinals, while Egypt champions Al Ahly will go up against fellow Egyptian, Smouha Sporting Club.
The Elite 8 games will be played on a home and away basis from March 22 – April 14, 2019.
