USUALLY, I do not respond to pseudonymous cowards as such would amount to dignifying harebrained mites who ordinarily should be ignored. But, when such moppets smuggle themselves into public arenas, one needs to civilize them and foreclose mass deception. Last Monday, one venomous brat from Owerri, the capital of the worst state in Nigeria in terms of good governance—worse than Abia!—swam in drunken tantrums in justificatory clownishness for a propagandistic outlay, with Governor Rochas Okorocha as his benefactor.
There is no amount of integrated marketing communication by small fries, public relational dubiety by papooses, photo-shop deception by mechanistic bambinos, periodic, cash-gifted receptions for some poverty-ravished cherubs euphemistically called writers wracked in Lagos and other stripling indulgences can transform a bad product. Not even the scurrilous clan of veiled mercenaries and attack sonnies spearheaded by one ghosted scoundrel, “Chido Kanma”, can clean official pigs even when taken to the ocean, as they will always return to their widely-acclaimed existential notoriety synonymous with piggy internalized filth!
From the urchin’s nomenclatural deceit, unassailably know that “Chido Kanma” is a fictitious name employed to give a gullible semblance of dissociation from the systemic rot that has irredeemably engulfed Imo State. This is the same duplicitous instrumentality used by the moronic hacks of the former governor of Abia State, T. A. Orji, I recollect a member of that paranoiac tribe of baboons who claimed “Koos James” writing from Umuahia just like “Chido Kanma” from Owerri! I need to know these maniacal masqueraders so that I can interrogate their horrendous parentage, scholastic antecedents, employment pedigree, existential trajectories, holistic reputational profile and current level of wretchedness that necessitates executive slavishness amid kamikaze pugnacity with dispassionate critics who are viciously and asininely seen as their megalomaniac principals’ worst enemies!
Let me now address few of the imbecilities raised by the jester called “Chido Kanma”: “Ebere Wabara, a self-acclaimed professional…What he wrote was simply a work of hate and spite. Anyone who has followed Wabara (sic) writings in Daily Sun would have found out that this man is (sic) out to attack people’s reputation (sic), to attract attention to himself.”
It should interest the bovine and brawny interjector that my professionalism is not “self-acclaimed”. The small fry in question should make institutional/organizational/corporate and group/individual enquiries into the profundity of my quintessential professionalism, verifiable academic flourish and profuse career ascent. Nippers should ask cerebral questions about their targets/victims before embarking on suicidal missions. Casting ludicrous aspersions on a critic and fallaciously questioning his celebrated professionalism amid facetious innuendoes hallmark survivalist stupidity. Platitudinous and mendacious rejoinders driven by ravenous existentialism only worsen erratic governors’ public perception.
Once you criticize floundering and chimerical governors it becomes “a work of hate and spite.” No apologies to such mercurial misfits in our convoluted democracy that allows charlatanism by opportunistic cubs. Habitually, I attack the poverty of leaderships—not pedestrian reputations of certified non-performers who inebriate in callousness, haughtiness and village authoritarianism amid northern clannishness that throws up festering ethnicity questions. I do not need to attract any attention to myself as the intellectualization of my transformative journalism speaks volumes for me without any self-adumbration. It is only a bunkum that will have the overdose of audacity, effrontery and temerity to question my profound scholarship, robust professionalism and employment distinction.
Another egregious muckraking from fictive “Chido Kanma”: “Wabara set out on a hallowed pedestal of misstated objectivity, drawing in profusely, (sic) his banters (sic)….” The challenge to Government House megaphones is their inability to distinguish between issues and malignity. In such prodigious ignorance, the ignoramuses respond perfunctorily to the glaring shortcomings of their embarrassing paymasters amplified by independent critics and devote their diseased brains to stereotypical mudslinging.
Still on whippersnapper’s tirades from the duckling in Owerri: “Wabara is a boutique journalist, out to malign people. He is not a man of truth, neither does he care for (sic) truth and objectivity that journalism cherishes.” Most numbskull defenders of their dismal bosses know no truth other than laudatory avowals about their 2019 fossilizing masters. Truth and objectivity exist in the minds and perceptions of jaundiced rockers of governors when some vituperative skinheads retire their bloody handouts through the celebration of underdevelopment and bizarre assignations by their piper-payers. If chronicling the manifest leadership absurdities, incontrovertible decadence and suffocative cruelties/insensitivities amid salacious grandstanding in any state is wrong, I don’t want to be right!
Yet another idiocy that signposts brazen rascality and crass distortion of history from a depraved bohemian: “Any objective mind can attest that all the past governors of Imo State combined have not matched Okorocha’s achievements….” I am sure that Rochas in good conscience and sobriety will be utterly embarrassed and peeved by this historical recklessness! Since the glorious exit of De Sam Mbakwe, the first civilian governor of Imo State and a referential colossus, there had been an unmitigated vacuum in the administration of this state. So, for anyone to lump De Sam with successive governors the person must be suffering from incurable insanity. Even if such a demented bloke was unborn then, there are e-libraries nationwide, excluding Imo! It is specious and laughable for anyone to compare De Sam with any South East governor, past or serving—least of all Anayo!
Still on the vapidity of a tomfool’s feedback: “We have found out that Wabara never visited Owerri, never went to any of the places he claimed he did.” Who are the “we” and which supernatural force did these buffoons contact to declare in their stupefaction that I never visited Imo State? Must I come to Government House to register my presence and get “settled”, typically, before my irrefutable private visit could be confirmed? Next time, I will hire a convoy as long as that of Rochas, storm the senatorial hubs majorly and foreclose this kind of malicious controversy that subsumes retrogression in Imo. The writer of the intemperate and uncouth rejoinder in his rascally juvenility calls on The Sun Management to mortgage my freedom of expression enshrined in the 1999 Constitution (as amended) so that his principal could continue in his autocratic intolerance and warped governance magistracy without scrutiny!
Last line of clinical buffoonery and veiled kindergartener’s threat to my safety: “This is in his best interest, SAFETY (emphasis mine)…He needs a refresher course.” I am used to empty threats to my life. I welcome a refresher course in LBS if that could make Rochas govern well and be responsive to right-thinking Imolites—not timid mercantilists and other impoverished government ‘pikins’.
Going by current transpirations, if there is any credible mid-term election today, Rochas is gone!
