Again, Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie will be starring in another movie of young and enterprising media entrepreneur and filmmaker, Ugochukwu Favour-Mayor under his Fun Code Media’s Ugoo Studios.
Recently, screenshot message of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie had surfaced online; in it, he explained how much he would charge to star in an upcoming web series, The Cathedral.
He had written that his fee would not be anything less than 1.2 Million Naira, and that got movie buffs and fans of the actor talking on social media throughout last week.
According to feelers, the storyline of this yet to be shot flick, The Cathedral may likely be recounting the Ahiara diocesan’s crisis, where over who becomes the Bishop of the Catholic diocese of Ahiara in Mbaise, Imo state was an issue of concern to all Catholics in the world.
Interestingly, it’s expected to have other top Nollywood acts like veteran actor, Zulu Adigwe, Bamidele Udemmadu, Sochi Infiti, Cassy Everest, Maudlyn Adaeze Ekwueme, Mary Ekpa, and a few others.
This film which would first have its exclusive online release on UGOOtv’s YouTube platform will also be available for distribution on all cable and terrestrial television channels.
Slated to be shot in Enugu in January, 2022, The Cathedral is going to be Ugochukwu’s last Christian movie, as he had confirmed in a Facebook post. According to him, “since it’s going to be our last Church kind of content/film, let’s sign out properly. Amazing support so far. Thank you all,” he wrote.
