The Group A match ticket for the clash between African champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria and hosts, France at the 2019 FIFA women’s World Cup has been sold out.

The world football ruling body FIFA, announced this through their official twitter handle @FIFAWWC.

“TICKET UPDATE The Group A match between  (Nigeria) and  (France) on 17 June is now SOLD OUT,” read a tweet on the official Twitter handle of FIFA.

Nigeria will face France in their last group A match on Monday, June 17 at the Roazhon Park, Rennes

The sale of the match tickets for the competition was declared open by the World football governing body last week.

The Super Falcons will begin their campaign at the World Cup against Norway on Saturday, June 8 at the Stade Auguste-Delaune, Reims.

They will trade tackles with Korea Republic in their second at the Stade des Alpes, Grenoble, on Wednesday, June 1 2.

Meanwhile, the official poster for the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™ had been  unveiled in Paris to coincide with International Women’s Day.

The bespoke design of the official poster reflects the cultural creed of this tournament: ensuring a level playing field for women’s football and empowerment through football for girls, women and society in general.

With a woman’s face as the central feature, set against the background of a football, the work of art encapsulates the essence of this eighth edition of the FIFA women’s World Cup:

The official poster was unveiled beside those of each of the nine host cities at the Galerie Celal in Paris and would be available for public viewing on Saturday and Sunday, 9 and 10 March from 13:00 to 18:00 CET.
