Are you a fan of comedy? Are you ready for rib cracking jokes from top comedians in the house? If yes, DStv has brought a brand new season of Comedy Nites just for you.
The new season, which promises to entertain with 13 nights of fun, hair-splitting jokes, laughter and occasional music, will be on Africa Magic Urban, channel 153, every Friday at 9pm.
Comedy Nites is a half hour, stand-up comedy TV show that boasts of an array of top-notch performances from a blend of newly discovered, fast rising and established comedians all in a cozy, club setting.
Comedians on parade include Senator, Koloman, Larry J, Efe the Warri boy, Dee-One, Josh 2 Funny, Ovy Godwin, Ukodo, Daniel Egwede, Koja Kaze, MIC, PHAGE, Damola, Laff Doctor, Whalemouth, Parkhage, Short Family, Ebube, Uwa, Mr Paul, and MCLively.
Commenting, channel director, African Magic Channels, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, says: “This isn’t just comedy, it is an opportunity to introduce upcoming comedians to a large audience”.
First-rate performances from SLK, Forever, Odogwu, Bow Joint, Desmond, Bash, Lasisi, Funny Bone, Acapella, Omo Baba and Emma Oh my God will leave viewers in stitches.
Other top of the range comedians that will be on the show are Basket Mouth, Dan the Humorous, Buchi, Bovi, Chigurl, Akpororo, Ajebo, MC Abbey, Okey Bakassi, Klint da Drunk, and Kenny Blaq.
Comedy Nites will also feature surprise performances from guest artistes.
