Talented gospel singer, Bishop Gbenga Beke, is currently making waves with his latest work titled, His Majesty (Kabioosi).

Born into a music family, Beke is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. He drew much of his inspiration from his uncle, the late comedian, Moses Olaiya Adejumo popularly known as Baba Sala.

According to the leader of Redeem Rhythms Band, he has produced six albums including his debut, Marvelous (1992), Great Message (1996), Holiness, Praises and Adieu Daddy, which he did in 2019 to mark his 35 years on stage and in remembrance of Baba Sala.

Speaking to Sunday Sun, Beke said: “I sing only gospel, but I also do gospel highlife like King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey. My target audience is basically everyone that loves gospel music, especially Christians. God has been faithful. I have been facing lots of challenges from lack of sponsorship to marketing. Right now, I need money to do adequate marketing and promotion.”
