Genrosys Technologies has launched a new mobile application that will ease the challenges of courier services in the country.

The mobile app known as “Speedie” designed to facilitate the easy delivery of items on demand is an online courier service registered and licensed by Nigeria Postal service (Nipost).

Speaking during the official launch of “Speedie”” in Lagos, the Chief Executive officer of Genrosys Technologies, Mr. Mark Odeigah urged bike owners to sign up for Speedie and help people make their deliveries at a very cheap and affordable rate.

Odeigah said the Speedie mobile delivery app is designed with features that the customer could trace the location of the bike and monitor the delivery process, also any undelivered item is returned to the owner of the item.

He said, Speedie is designed to demystify the challenges facing delivery companies and also assist unregistered delivery companies to have a platform and thrive on the platform of speedie who is officially registered with the Courier Regulatory Department of NIPOST.

He urged all those who could not meet up with the license fee of the NIPOST to come and register with speedie.

Continuing, Odeigah said the newly introduced app would provide employment opportunities for 1000 dispatch riders in Lagos in six months adding that 25 dispatch riders had started operations already and about 38 are still undergoing training and monitoring and the target was to get 1000 riders into business in Lagos.

Speaking on the app, Head of Business, Speedie, Mr Ajibola Tiamiyu, said that the app was a self service and monitiring platform that would solve problems associated with delivery services.
According to him, it was created to solve the numerous complaints received by customers on the issue of either late delivery or inability to track ones goods.
