The organisers of Gidi Culture Festival have announced the first line-up of artistes for the 6th edition of the music, food, art, and games carnival coming up on Easter weekend, April 20, 2019.
In its usual fashion, the festival will present a carefully curated and diverse line-up of some of the most exciting acts on the continent, making waves across the globe. They include Patoranking, Niniola, Teni the Entertainer, Moonchild Sanelly, and DJ Neptune.
The popular Next Gen stage is back for a second year at Gidi Fest and features some of the underground talents redefining the Nigerian sound. They are Boogey, Mo’ Believe, Tems, Ogranya, Mich Straaw, Blaqbonez and Dami Oniru
Last year witnessed the rise of the Gidi Tribe, and in the spirit of empowering the tribe this year, the 2019 theme is: ‘Your Voice, Your Choice’. “We want to empower the Gidi Tribe to understand the power of their voices and how the choices they make can shape their future,” the organisers say.
