New Nigeria People’s Party gubernatorial candidate’s wife in Gombe, Samira Mailanterki, has empowered women in 11 local government areas in the three senatorial zones of the state.
Addressing beneficiaries after the disbursement of several bags of rice and other items in Central senatorial zone, Deba Town, she urged women to support her husband, who she described as hope for the common man.
She also assured that Mailanterki will carry women along and set aside political posts capable of lifting them to greater heights.
“He knows the value of women in the society and he won’t relent in empowering them. I urged you to come out en masse and vote the rightful candidate in 2023. Mailanterki has what it takes to challenge any candidate and with the support of women, I’m confident he will emerge winner. He is here to give hope for the hopeless and I’m sure we’ll never let him down,” she said.
