Chairman, Lagos State Parks and Garages Management, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, yesterday, led millions of supporters on a solidarity walk in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

The rally tagged ‘five million man walk’ was also in support of the re-election of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

APC supporters across the metropolis defied the early downpour and converged at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos as early as 7am for the rally.

The massive crowd in a carnival-like gathering walked from the stadium through Ikorodu Road and terminated at Bolade, Oshodi.

Various groups came with their banners and shirts to show  support for Tinubu, Shettima and Sanwo-Olu.

Akinsanya described the gathering as a mini-show of strength by Tinubu’s supporters.

“We just want Lagosians and Nigerians to know that our father, Asiwaju Tinubu has millions of supporters. This is just a tip of an iceberg. We are not fully out yet, by the time the election dates draw nearer, Nigerians will see our true colour.  We’ll deliver massive votes for Asiwaju Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu in Lagos,” he said.

APC Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, Stephen Ogundipe said:  “This is just a rehearsal for Nigerians to what we’re capable of delivering. We don’t just talk, we walk the talk. This is our Lagos. We’ll show Nigerians that our love and support for Asiwaju Tinubu is massive. He’s a great man and an achiever. He had a great vision for Lagos State and delivered. Now, it’s time for Nigeria

Armed security personnel, led by Nigeria Police, Department of State Service, DSS, Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps. LNSC, among others, also joined to provide protection and security for residents and participants.
