The latest offering from American moviemaker, Guy Ritchie, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, will hit cinemas across the federation today. This is coming on the heels of a media screening which was held at Ozone Cinemas, Yaba, Lagos, on Wednesday.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is the story of Arthur and the Round Table knights, and their supernatural-assisted insurrection against the forces of tyranny.
“It is the story of King Arthur and how he discovers his powers through the use of the Excalibur. It is a departure from what we know Guy Ritchie for. It is hilarious, entertaining and the use of special effects is awesome! The fusion of new and old dialogue is distinct. This is a movie that will hold movie buffs spellbound for a long while,” Blue Pictures’ Tobi Ogunlowo says.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros., Crimson Multimedia Limited, in conjunction with Blue Pictures Film Distribution have launched a reward platform christened ‘Live Like A King in London’, open to moviegoers in Nigeria.
Among others, prizes include return tickets for the winner and one guest to London for a three-night stay at the five-star Covent Garden Hotel.
