Hon Dame Blessing Nwagba, the All Progressives Party APC senatorial candidate for Abia South senatorial district, has lauded the great strides of Brig General Amanda Azubuike who was recently promoted to the rank of Brig General in the US Army.

Also she praised the doggedness of
Ada Eme, for winning the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageantry, the resilience, hardwork, and confidence of Onyinyechi Mark, for her record-breaking four gold medals in Egypt, and Kalu Esther Ugochi for winning the De9ja talent hunt.
She said they are great asset for the country.

In a release she personally signed made available to Daily Sun the former two-time member of Abia State House of Assembly, said female children are assets of inesteemable value to both their families and the society at large.

She described them further as worthy Igbo daughters and urged other girls to emulate their winning spirit.

While paying special tributes to Amanda Azubuike and Onyinyechi Mark for unusual gallantry, she described Ada Eme and Esther Ugochi Kalu as beauty queens, urging them to use their periods of reign to preach and promote morals and good conduct among girls.

She noted that the rare feats recorded by these Igbo daughters is an eloquent testimony to the spirit of excellence which God has endowed in female children
She reinterated her commitment to ensuring the welfare of women and the girl-child.

Hon Nwagba noted with sense of pride the great strides and successes women are recording in governance, and administration, expressing optimism that with more women at the helm of affairs, Nigeria, especially Abia South senatorial district, will be salvaged.
