Mbaocha Political Forum (MPF) comprising four communities of Ohokobe, Umuohu, Umuezeala and Umuafai in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State have drummed support for the House of Representatives ambition of Hon Chinedum Orji, Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly.

The group, which took the decision during its special consultative meeting held at the residence of Lawrence Ohaeri, said the achievements of Orji, attracted their endorsement.

The group also drummed support for State House of Assembly candidate of Umuahia East constituency, Kelechi Nwakodo, pointing out that basic amenities attracted to their area by the Abia House of Assembly Speaker earned him their support.

Addressing the press after the meeting, the President of the group, Ohaeri said the endorsement of the Abia Speaker was ratified by elders, youths and women wing of people of Mbaocha as well as non natives living in the communities.

He scored the Abia Speaker above other candidates in the Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency race, stressing that all PDP candidates will receive bloc votes from his people.

Ohaeri, who listed completed and ongoing projects by Hon Orji across Mbaocha lands, stated, “we are happy the way and manner Hon Chinedum Orji is touching the lives of the less privileged. The legacy projects he attracted are there for all to see.”

Responding to the group, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, thanked the people for finding him worthy to represent them at the green chambers.

Orji, represented by Uzodinma Ugele promised more quality representation for all constituents of Ikwuano/Umuahia, pointing out that no community would be left behind.
